Summer Adventure

We’ve had a strong start this spring at camp. Having two work weekends, Prairie Christian Academy, 4M and staff training, has given us a good chance to test the waters and grow as a team.

The prayer deck has had a recent renovation and is now larger, incorporating standing trees, and room for more chairs. This retreat tucked away is worth finding and spending time in.

New Site Directors

Hello Blue Bronna community, and thank you for the warm welcome we have received this summer. Myself, Tyler, and my wife Becky moved lock, stock, and barrel to Willow Creek May 1st of 2017.

I am in the position of site director here and Becky is the barn manager. It’s been a wonderful summer loaded with a mixture of excitement and steep learning curves. We both went to school with some previous BBWC staff in the Explore program at Prairie Bible College, heard about the values of this camp, and after finding that it fit our values and goals of ministry, we jumped on board!

Spring 2017 Newsletter

We are expecting and planning for new or revitalized things  to happen at camp this year. First of all we are so excited about our 2017 camp list that we have available. The classic 8-9 camp and 10-12 camp are back but revitalized with a plan to reach further into the wilderness with more outtrips. There are a few camps that have been added or reintroduced  including the father/son adventure. We really believe that father/son time is so important for the family and for growing boys. We are excited to offer a time and space where fathers and sons can have a blast together while they challenge themselves in the pristine backwoods of the livingstone range. Our newest camp is the 4 peaks in 4 days which is targeted to adults wanting to challenge themselves to see several mountain tops in just a short time. This camp is hiking specific and we believe that there are individuals out there who want to try some new mountains out.

Update from Cody Wilson, Executive Director

Dear Friends,

We are already well past the end of summer 2016 at BBWC, what a whirlwind! That leaves us looking into the winter months where we will plan and prepare for next year. I hope to connect with many of you over the coming months to share more of the exciting things that are happening in our ministry lives. First, a detail that we wanted to make sure everyone is aware of. We are having child #4 join the Wilson family sometime between Christmas and Jan 13. As a bonus the Ultra-sound technician tells us that this one will be a girl, wohoo! I am sure she will be a fun addition to our family and we can’t wait to meet her.
