Campfire Recipe: One Pot Wonder

A favourite among the guys because there are less dishes to do; this is a delicious breakfast option will kick start your day (especially when your day includes climbing mountains) and only requires one pot to make it in.


Recipe for One Pot Breakfast

(serves 4)

  • 1 Red pepper
  • 1 Green pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 cup of Bacon, Sausage or Ham



Fry bacon, sausage or ham in large frying pan. Drain excess fat.

Dice peppers and onions and sauté them in the frying pan with butter.

Add in the hash browns and lightly brown.

Whisk Eggs and add to this pan. Scramble eggs.

Add peppers and onions

Season with pepper and enjoy!

This recipe easily doubles and triples for larger groups or leftovers.
