Trail rides are an excellent way to gain access to areas that are difficult to reach. Plus, it is a joy and privilege to bond, learn to communicate, and care for the horse you are assigned. Packtrips allow greater travel range as you will be spending planned nights out.

Whitewater rafting on the Oldman / Livingstone River is a thrilling way to learn something of teamwork or an exciting way to cool off on a hot spring day (the rafting program is dependent on spring runoff).

Hiking is a sure-fire way to burn off some leftover energy, but more than that, it is the only way to get a look at awe-inspiring mountain terrain and delicate alpine flowers that speak volumes about their amazing Creator (God).

Rock climbing / Rappelling is our newest program. It is a safe way to challenge yourself on vertical rock, or face fear as you rappel off an overhanging cliff edge.

Archery, with a little instruction and some practice, can be a great way to improve your skill on our compound bows. Those who attain a high level of accuracy will be coached through our full-size 3D shooting range.

Food is key to any good camp. We recognize that, and seek to provide large portions of great-tasting, healthy food. Eating is also a time to chat and share one's experiences of the day.

Chores are essential to the camp's smooth operation. Horse feeding, dishes, and wood gathering are the simple chores that are participated in.

Games that are just plain fun, involving a few or the whole camp. Horseshoes, Night Frisbee, Mission Impossible, Food Chain, Mafia, Wide Games, and the classics are played throughout.

Quading makes available certain areas. It is not an attempt to be macho or prove one's quad, but rather to travel existing trails at safe speeds. Some drivers may have physical conditions that prevent the use of horses or hiking as a means to see the backcountry, or maybe they have not learned the finer points of communicating with our horses...

Fishing (July through Sept.) is a great chance to experience some of the best fly-fishing water in the world. In an attempt to preserve the stocks, catch and release is practised. But whether you're online with a monstrous bull trout, or just reeling in a little cutthroat the excitement is still the same.
